What do we learn when we meet with the Interventionist?

Students are given extra practice and instruction time individually or in small groups in math and reading. Math is broken down into smaller steps and students use math tools and manipulatives to support their understanding. In reading groups assessments are being given to check progress and growth often. Students read small level reader books and work on comprehension and writing skills.

What can we look forward to this year?

Students are given a quiet and supportive classroom to enhance their learning. When the student has practiced their level readers with me a few times they will take them home to continue practicing these books with their families.
